Master Math with Confidence: Personalized Tutoring for Grades 3–12
At The Jewel Institute of Education, we offer personalized math tutoring for students in grades 3–12. Our sessions reinforce classroom learning while building core skills in operations, fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry, and advanced topics like trigonometry and polynomial functions. Whether your child needs support or enrichment, we help them build confidence and achieve lasting success.
Foundational Skills for Elementary Success (Grades 3–4)
Our tutoring program for younger learners builds strong mathematical foundations with a focus on essential skills. In 3rd grade, students master 1-digit multiplication, addition and subtraction, basic fractions, and concepts of time and area. As they move into 4th grade, instruction deepens with 2-digit multiplication, place value, division, factors and multiples, decimals, and measurement. Each session blends current classroom topics with skill reinforcement to promote confidence and long-term retention.
Strengthening Middle School Readiness (Grades 5–6)
In grades 5 and 6, students expand their understanding through targeted instruction in decimals, fractions, and algebraic reasoning. Tutoring includes practice with multiplying and dividing decimals and fractions, solving one-variable equations and inequalities, and applying order of operations. Geometry and measurement skills are reinforced, including volume, perimeter, and area. Our tutors guide students to bridge foundational knowledge with pre-algebra concepts, preparing them for the rigor of middle school math.
Advanced Math Mastery for Upper Grades (Grades 7–Algebra 2)
Students in grades 7 and up receive support in more complex topics, including equations with one and two variables, geometric formulas, proportions, probability, and data analysis. Instruction in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 covers linear and quadratic equations, systems, functions, polynomial operations, exponential expressions, and trigonometry. Geometry topics such as transformations, congruence, proofs, and conic sections are also integrated. These sessions help students excel in advanced math, preparing them for high school success and beyond.
